An Act of Gratitude

When JTB Home Furniture + Decor store owner Tracey sat down earlier this month to evaluate accomplishments in 2021 and set goals for 2022, one vendor representative stood out among the crowd - April. That's when the plan was hatched...something had to be done to recognize April's outstanding service. The plaque was created, the appointment with April and her CEO was scheduled in their showroom, and off to Atlanta we went for the Gift and Home Market.

Let's face it - 2021 was a challenging year for many industries. Stock outages, shipping delays and employee shortages created frustration on both ends of the supply chain. When we first met April, she was very sweet and quiet.  But, sometimes, it's the quiet people who produce the biggest roar. "April has always delivered excellent customer service. She was knowledgeable and proactive in her communication," said Tracey. The presentation turned into a heartwarming moment for all. April was thrilled and very thankful, April's manager was proud and impressed, and word quickly spread throughout their company as something like this had never been done before. 

The JTB Home Staff was very grateful for the hospitality that was exhibited in this particular vendor showroom during the market and we will treasure the memory that was created during the 2022 Atlanta Market.
