Styling a Buffet for Spring

Don’t let decorating (or redecorating!) a buffet be an intimidating task! Choosing classic décor accessories and sprinkling in items to reflect the season will keep a space from looking tired. First, start with wall décor. The three neutral floral pieces of wall art in the photo above are made of metal but painted white. The artwork creates height for the background of the buffet. Secondly, add a table runner to the buffet to ground the look. This table runner is a fun print but still neutral enough to tie in the artwork. Notice that the table runner fills up about three quarters of the length of the buffet. Next, we need fillers. Fillers are the bigger pieces of decor that will take up much of the space. The metal tray and three different sized glass and metal canisters can be used for all seasons. Now for the final touch! Since it is spring, the faux greens are timely and give the look some life. The metal canisters contain a store favorite - whimsical greens with roots and faux dirt attached. Lastly, three mossy orbs are added to the tray. The greens really give this buffet a fun and unexpected look!
